how to get there:

Luckily, Miami has multiple airport options, making it super accessible: The obvious one is Miami International Airport (MIA) which is in the heart of it all. You can fly into Fort Lauderdale(FLL) which is about an hour from Miami with traffic. There’s also Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) - about 1.5 hours but another option.

how to get around:

Fair warning: the traffic here is brutal - especially when crossing the bridges between Downtown Brickell, and South Beach. Just make sure you plan your itinerary around that. There are no shortage of Uber/Lyft’s for you but just be prepared at the possibility of sitting in traffic.

where to stay:

South Beach and Brickell: both are extremely walkable to bars and restaurants, expensive hotels and not the best for big groups

Wynwood: artsy and trendy, great for foodies, and offer a few Airbnbs

We stayed near University Park because that is where the most affordable Airbnb’s are. It’s close to the airport and about a 20-minute drive to dinner. Here is the house we stayed at.

RENT A BOAT

This feels like a given, but I have to say it. Rent a yacht, fill it with drinks, and go out on the water! The views of the bay with all the amazing houses are fun to look at. Stop at Nixon Sandbar to swim and party on the water.

You can book a yacht through: getmyboat, boatsetter, Miami Yachting Company, or Party on a boat rental

GO TO A CLUBSTAURANT

What’s better than a girls’ dinner? A girls’ dinner that also is a party where you can stand on your chair. It’s basically a club and restaurant rolled into one. My favorite thing is sitting down while I’m out so this is the perfect place to bring your girls because I know your feet are going to hurt!

Here are a few options where you can combine your party vibe with an unforgettable dinner: Sexy Fish, Kiki on the River, Seaspice.

But make sure to make reservations in advance!

PARTY AT THE CLUB

You have to at least go to the club while you’re here - that’s what Miami is known for!! Make room in your itinerary for at least one wild night out.

Here are some recommendations:

  • LIV at Fontainebleau

  • E11EVEN Miami

  • Story Miami

  • Sugar (Brickell) – A chic rooftop bar

HIRE A HIBACHI CHEF

For a dinner that’s both delicious and entertaining, book a hibachi dinner at your Airbnb where the chefs put on a show!

Get in your cozies or dress up and enjoy dinner at home. This is so fun! We used Let’s Hibachi and they have chefs all around the United States making it easy and seamless to book.

DRAG BRUNCH

Miami is famous for its brunch scene—think bottomless drinks, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere!

And not only brunch, but DRAG BRUNCH. The drag brunch scene here is unmatched. The most infamous place is The Palace. It’s a Miami staple and a must visit with your girlfriends.

But if you can’t get a res here, try R House Wynwood. They pride themselves on an above average food menu and a legendary show.

RELAX AT THE BEACH

After a wild night out, nothing beats relaxing on the beach. Lay out at South Beach, or if you’re looking for more of a party vibe, head to Nikki Beach Club for bottomless mimosas and a beachside brunch party or even to rent their beachside chairs and tents.

GO TO A POOL PARTY

Not a fan of the beach? Then head over to the iconic pool party scene in Miami. It’s also a great place to meet other groups of people - if that’s what you are looking for. There’s pool parties with a raging party scene and also some more low key. Here are some recommendations:

Hyde Beach - this is the most popular one and a must for bachelorette parties

Baia Beach Club - the spot if you want a more upscale pool experience

Strawberry Moon - if you’re looking for a more girly vibe, the pink and white pinstripe decor is the perfect spot.

LAST MINUTE TIPS FOR YOUR TRIP:

✔️ Make reservations early – Miami books up FAST.
✔️ Level up your outfits – This is your time to pull out all the bright, sequin, fun dresses you own
✔️ Plan transportation ahead – Plan your travel time around the traffic

Miami is truly the ultimate bachelorette destination - it’s party and relaxing rolled up in one!
